Just a few hundred meters away is a licensed
seafood restaurant and booking is advisable. The picturesque
village of Aberdaron is about 2 miles away which has a lovely
sandy beach, pubs, grocery shops,gift shops, and church. Whistling
sands is another beach close to Aberdaron. The market town of
Pwllheli (market held on Wednesdays) with its marina and shops
is approximately 18 miles away. Abersoch village, popular for
its water sports and sailing is nearby.
Llyn Peninsula has several coves ideal for fishing and costal
walks. The activities possible on the peninsula include quad
biking, hovercrafting, golfing, and pony trekking. These are
just a few to mention. Away from the peninsula is the Snowdonia
National Park which includes Snowdon the highest mountain in
Wales and England.

Bardsey
Island is a popular tourist attraction because of its historical
and religious significance as a place of pilgrimage over the
centuries. The lighthouse is visible from the headland adjoining
the site. Boat trips to the island are available weather permitting
from Aberdaron village.
