Aberdaron Village

The picturesque village of Aberdaron is approximately 1.5 miles away with its grocery and gift shops, newsagent, bakery, off -licence, cafes, pubs, church, and sandy beach.
Another popular beach close by is Whistling Sands.

The market town of Pwllheli (market held on Wednesday) is 18 miles away. Abersoch another tourist spot, popular for its water sports is nearby and Hells Mouth beach for surfing is not far away.

From the campsite the adjoining headland links to the coastal path ideal for walks along the rugged coastline and sandy beaches. There are several coves scattered around ideal for fishing.

Bardsey Island is a popular tourist attraction because of its historical and religious significance as a place of pilgrimage over the centuries. The lighthouse is visible from the headland adjoining the site. Boat trips to the island are available weather permitting from Aberdaron village.

The Ship and Ty Newydd hotels in the village offer good food, and of course the Penbryn Bach sea food restaurant is only a stone throw away.
